Student Body Civil Engineering
The Student Body Civil Engineering originated during the student strikes in winter semester 1997/98 as an organised platform to represent the interests of civil engineering students.

Student Body Geoinformatics and Surveying
Our tasks are, among others:
- Point of contact for students of the faculty, advice on questions regarding the faculty
- Convening and carrying out plenary meetings
- Representing students in discussion with the dean and in the committees
- Organisation of celebrations, parties, events, excursions etc.

AStA
The Allgemeine Studierendenausschuss (AStA) is the managerial organisation and representative of the student body. It is to some extent the student “government” or the real representative body of the students. The AStA is elected by the student parliament and is made up of one or more chairpersons and a group of speakers for various areas of responsibility.

Office, finances, student politics, international affairs, cultural affairs, publicity, public affairs, sports, transportation, steering committee

StuPa
What does the Student Parliament do?
- makes decisions on all matters concerning students
- elects, supervises and discharges the AStA
- decides on the semester fee
- represents student interests in various committees
- approves the AStA budget etc.
- The StuPa is, along with the student plenum, the highest decision-making body of the student body and is elected yearly by all students on the basis of party list voting
