- An interdisciplinary team of professors that teaches you the basic scientific principles, building law and the subject areas of civil engineering including foreign languages and ecology,
- Assistants to support you,
- Labs for construction chemistry, physics, structural systems, welding technology, geotechnology, civil engineering for traffic routes, water and solid waste management and a lab for construction material testing
Small group instruction promotes contact good contact between students and intensive support by professors.
Course offer
All civil engineering study programmes are modern, have a modular structure and are consistent with current market developments. All study programmes are accredited.

University Benchmarking Civil Engineering
The study programmes at the University of Applied Sciences FH Mainz:
- Bachelor in Civil Engineering,
- Bachelor in International Civil Engineering
- Master in Civil Engineering
were distinguished as "qualified study programmes“ in the university benchmarking of the employers’ associations.
The university benchmarking in civil engineering was carried out to identify professional qualifying bachelor and master programmes for the employers of civil engineers and to help students if civil engineering find a suitable university.
