In the School of Business you can choose between a number of Bachelor and Master study programmes:

Application procedures for applicants with foreign education qualifications for the School of Business
Applicants who have acquired their university entrance qualification somewhere other than in Germany or at a school observing the German Abitur examination regulations (A-Levels, High School Diploma, Baccalaureat etc.) may only apply for a place at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz after a preliminary review, for which a fee will be charged, has been carried out by Uni-Assist (this does not apply for the Master study programmes MA IB and MSc IB). Uni-Assist e. V. is the work and service point for international university applications. Detailed information as well as the required forms can be found on the uni-assist homepage.

Who must have certificates reviewed by Uni-Assist?
Anyone who has acquired their university entrance qualification somewhere other than in Germany or at a school observing the German Abitur examination regulations (A-Levels, High School Diploma, Baccalaureat etc.). This also applies to the full-time Master study programmes Business Administration and Business Law. The nationality of the applicant is irrelevant.
This regulation does not apply for
- Students from partner universities who would like to study at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz as part of an exchange programme
- Applications for certain Master and postgraduate study programmes (please ask for information from the respective school!)
How do I apply to Uni-Assist?
Please read carefully about the admission requirements for each study programme before applying. Further details can be obtained from the respective school of the University of Applied Sciences Mainz.
Please use the assist application form for your application. Explanations of the application form can be found under uni-assist.
Please also note that your application will only be processed by uni-assist if the application fee has been paid. Please add a copy of the payment slip to your application.
Which documents do I need for an application?
- Secondary school certificate and all other documents which would entitle you to study at a university in your home country. Applicants from PR China, Cameroon or Mongolia require further documents.
- Certificates, reports or transcripts regarding former studies at a university, should this be the case.
- Proof of your German language skills (DSH, ZOP or comparable, Testdaf with TDN 3 for the Schools of Technology and Design, TDN 4 for the School of Business)
- Certified copy of your valid passport (only the page with your personal details)
- Passport photo
- Copy of the payment slip showing payment to uni-assist.
