Responsibilities of the Faculty Councils
The faculty council debates and decides on matters of fundamental significance pertaining to the faculty, unless otherwise determined.
Members
Members and the chairperson are elected for a period of three years, members from the group of students for one year.
The faculty council consists of:
- Seven members from the group of university teachers
- Four members from the group of students
- Two members from the group of academic and non-academic members of staff
The managing director of the faculty and the women’s representative of the faculty belong to the faculty council with advisory votes.
The dean as well as the vice dean are elected by the faculty council from the circle of professors belonging to the faculty council for a period of 3 years.
The dean is the presiding member of the faculty council and is responsible to it. The dean is represented by the vice dean.
