Study programme Architecture
The architecture study programme in Mainz developed out of the Kurfürstliche Akademie from the 18th century. Continuity and experience are a reflection of this tradition, which demands constant modernisation and updates.
Today, the architecture department offers differentiated courses, which are oriented simultaneously towards regional European academic practices. The department, with 12 professors, 5 permanent staff members and a large number of assistant lecturers, ensures that students receive competent and individual advice and an agreeable learning and working environment.
