FH - International Activities
The University of Applied Sciences Mainz has taken on the challenges and changes of the booming economic Rhine-Main area. It is a matter of course for our study programmes to be internationally orientated:
- Offer of integrated study programmes abroad with internationally compatible degrees,
- Development of new internationally accepted Bachelor and Master study programmes,
- Promotion of semesters abroad and
- Development of exchange programmes for students and teachers
- Intensification of language training by offering foreign language courses
Young people from over 60 different nations are currently registered at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz. About 450 of the approximately 4500 students at our university come from other countries. Some of them complete their entire studies here and some of them spend one or two semesters studying here on the grounds of cooperation agreements with the University of Applied Sciences Mainz.
Students at the University of Applied Sciences have the possibility of doing part of their studies abroad at one of over 80 partner universities. Most partner universities are traditionally situated in Western Europe, contacts to Eastern Europe, overseas and Asia and Australia have been continuously intensified over the last few years.
