According to 2.1 of the guidelines for measures to promote women’s interests at the University of Applied Sciences Mainz (adopted by the Senate at its tenth meeting on 22nd April 1998 and last amended by the 30th meeting of the Senate of the University of Applied Sciences Mainz on 4th July 2001), members of the Senate Committee for Women’s Affairs are:
- the central women’s representative
- the women’s representative
- two representatives of each faculty (the women’s representatives of the faculties are automatically members)
- two representatives from the central institutions (operating units) and the central administration
- two representatives of the (women) students
If after appointment of the above representatives a group is not represented pursuant to § 37 Par. 2 of the University and College Act, the respective group shall send a member to the committee on the basis of the group suffrage principle.
