The committee forms the interface and connection between the ZIK and teaching
General
The senate has established a committee called the Committee for Information and Communication, in the following referred to as IK Committee.
Responsibilities
The IK Committee’s tasks are:
- Draft of basic principles necessary for running the ZIK (rules for users)
- Approval of the planning of tasks and projects of the ZIK, in coordination with teaching and research requirements and possibly third parties
- Approval of the planning of funds requests and application. The results shall be forwarded as a recommendation for the decision-making process to the respective originator.
The IK Committee compiles its own rules of procedure.
Members
The IK Committee consists of the following members entitled to vote:
- The managing academic executive, who is also the chairperson of the IK Committee
- Two professors from each faculty, appointed by the senate pursuant to the proposal put forward by the respective faculty for a period of three years
- The engineering executive
- A student representative from each faculty, appointed by the senate for a period of one year
- A representative of the group pursuant to §28 Par. 2 No. 3 FHG (University of Applied Sciences Act), appointed by the senate for a period of three years
Members with advisory votes are:
- The vice academic executive
- The two heads of the department
