Application

You should outline the field of research you wish to pursue during your Master Programme. Initially, your proposal should not be too narrowly defined and cover with one A4 page.

The proposal may come from the field of ‹Participation in Design›. However, it is also possible to choose a different subject which will later be treated with different scientific design methods: The subject may, e.g., be dissected, analysed, mixed, collated, sorted, archived, split, amalgamated, tested, cultivated or accelerated.

Admission Procedure

Applicants must have reached a total minimum mark of 2,5 (“good”) at their Finals in a design-oriented Bachelor or Diploma course.

The application procedure consists of two steps: the submission of the portfolio and the questionnaire, followed by an interview and the online application. Applicants with a diploma from a foreign college/ university are required to present their credentials via Uni-Assist.

If at the time of applying a final certificate is not yet available, the applicant should submit an attestation from his place of study, stating the marks attained in the final exam. In this case, the certificate must be presented by the 15th September. In cases where the applicant has studied for only six semesters, he/she must furnish proof of having attended either an 18-week co-op program or another relevant practical training. Applicants without such practical experience will have to complete additional modules in the Bachelor Programme.
